KONSTANTA FURNITURE FACTORY’S HISTORY
Konstanta Furniture Factory has started its history from 1998. During the period of integral changes happening all over the country there was born some group of enthusiasts headed by the founder of the company, who were brought together in Kharkov city (Ukraine) with the purpose to set up the furniture production release of the European quality and reasonable price.
On the first stage of its development, the employees of the Factory have produced the sofas on the rented territory and using exceptionally the hand guided tool. There was produced the special furniture only for the custom order.
For the first years of work, the Konstanta Furniture Factory’s products were presented in five regional centers. In 2001, the staff of the company was about 25 people. Having set up the volume furniture production with a help of national and foreign industrial equipment, the Factory has made known about itself at the whole country’s territory so far the end of 2001. For that moment, the company’s production assets let create the cooperation with dealmakers and offer the soft and cabinet furniture, which includes corner and simple sofas, armchairs, poofs, kitchens, tables, cabinets and commodes, the furniture for bathroom and bedroom.
At the beginning of 2005, the factory started creating its own retail trade network having about 100 specialists in its staff. The effective planning has allowed getting the industrial premises, to renew the equipment and the tool. There were used the materials and garment accessories of the widely recognized global leader in production.
The high quality of furniture and the attractive pricing have generated interest to cooperate in the list of foreign retailers. Providing the constant furniture production inland, Konstanta Furniture Factory has approached the international markets at the end of 2000. The furniture export is realized in Germany, Belgium, Lithuania, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Romania and other countries.
From 2014 all the furniture undergoes the quality control according to the ISO 9001 standard on every stage of production – starting from the product development and finishing with the packing.
The fundamental investment were made in 2010-2015, when the production space was bought. The new foreign-made equipment was installed, the transport was renewed. The personnel qualification is regularly being raised, the dealership and own distribution network is being extended. According to the results of work in 2014, 2015, 2016 the Konstanta furniture factory was declared as the leader in the furniture branch in Ukraine. In 2015 the company became the greatest furniture exporter and it remains the leader for the moment as well.
Starting for 2014, Konstanta furniture factory has determined the entrance to the common European market and creating of the dealership network in the European Union countries as one of the strategic directions of the development.
